Staff
The law firm maintains excellence in its staff through hiring intelligent people, providing proper training and establishing a good working atmosphere. Many staff members are long term employees who permit the firm to provide clients with continuity and competence. The current staff includes:
- Tresia Merrick (Personal Injury Manager)
Tresia began her career in law in 1982 and has worked for the law firm since 1987. She brings tremendous knowledge and experience to our Personal Injury practice. Tresia loves to garden and spend time with her menagerie of dogs.
- Deanna Paulus (Bookkeeping/File Clerk)
Deana is responsible for maintaining all of the files in the office and our day-to-day bookkeeping. She performs a large variety of tasks, including court filings, word processing and litigation projects. In her spare time Deana is an avid reader and music fan.
- Dannette Wolfe (Head Bookkeeper)
Dannette is the principle bookkeeper, but also handles many special tasks. Dannette has worked for the law firm since 1990. She is very active in many community projects and supports her son’s sporting achievements.
The law firm hires a legal assistant to be the friendly voice on the phone. The legal assistant is more than a receptionist and takes on paralegal functions as well as phone duty. The legal assistant will help with preparation of pleadings and documents filed with the Courts. The position is filled by individuals who have knowledge of court procedures.
Gross & Romanick, P.C. takes full advantage of the wealth of legal scholarship found in the Washington, D.C. area. Over the years law the firm has hired as law clerks, top students from the local law schools including Georgetown, George Washington, American and George Mason. Our law clerks utilize the tremendous legal resources in the Washington D.C. area, including the Library of Congress, to provide high quality legal research. Our law clerks assist the law firm in providing excellent legal services.
